Who is Eligible?

You must be between 15-19 years old, registered with Team String organization as a participant in good standing.

Participate in all the required workforce training sessions.

You must complete all the required training classes.

You must create and a CV/Resume to your profile

You must have a signed completion form by your facilitator or (Executive Director) before you can review part-time job or apprenticeship opportunities. You can find this document on www.teamstring.org.

You must have a professional profile on our Workforce Dashboard.
WHAT NEXT?

Schedule a 30-minute appointment with the Executive Director or facilitator to discuss employment goals.

Attend three required training sessions within the following topic areas: Career Exploration 101, How to Build a Strong CV/Resume, Mock Interviewing 101, How to Search and Apply for Job Positions, Best Dress and How to Present Yourself during an Interview, and How to send thank you notes via email after an interview.

Create and upload your C\//resume to your profile.

Upload a professional headshot.

Complete and return your signed Workforce Training Session completion form to the Executive Director.
Overview
Our Workforce Development Program is designed to assist high risk 15-19-year-olds with job and career development training to start their journey into the workforce. The Workforce Development Program includes services to assistance with career exploration, curriculum vitae (CV)/resume writing, how to set up a professional profile, mock interviewing, and how to search and apply for parttime job or apprenticeship opportunities.
