Immersive Arts and Culture Events
Organize engaging activities that expose the youth to the world of theater, sports, and museums. These immersive experiences can broaden their horizons, enhance their creativity, and promote cultural understanding. Through participation in diverse arts and culture events, the youth can develop a well-rounded perspective and discover new passions.
Community Service Projects
Engage the youth in meaningful community service projects, such as supporting food pantries, urban farms, and homeless shelters. By actively participating in these projects, the youth will learn the value of giving back to their communities, develop empathy, and gain a deeper understanding of the social issues affecting those around them. This hands-on experience will empower them to make a positive impact and cultivate a sense of responsibility towards their community.
Personalized Mentorship
Provide dedicated Life Coaches and Mentors who are committed to offering personalized guidance and support to the youth. This one-on-one mentorship will help foster a strong bond between mentors and mentees, enabling them to navigate challenges and explore personal growth together.
The key program components include engaging weekly life skills workshops focusing on topics such as cultivating passions, creative writing, gender equity, public speaking, strengthening parent/student relationships, and financial literacy, including arts and culture events that embrace the world of theater, sports, and museums, while broadening the scope of thought it will also offer a unique and captivating experience.
The program's goal and objective is to nurture youth through difficult times in their lives. This is done through identifying youth within the community, other organizations, and within the school system. Once the youth has been identified, we present to the youth the goals and objectives of our organization which are to provide one-on-one mentoring, a 24 hour hotline available to the youth for any situation the youth may find him or herself in. In addition, we provide workshops dedicated to educating the youth on the benefits of developing negotiation skills, conflict resolution skills, financial literacy skills, and the importance of education. In addition, it is important for the youth to have experiences outside of his or her community. We, therefore, have identified activities and field trips that will enhance their knowledge of opportunities that are available to them outside of their community. The end result will be that the youth who are in our program will understand the need to STOP THE VIOLENCE in order to lead a productive and socially responsible life.
